The DeKalb Police STAR team utilizes 1996 Ford Crown Victoria's. These cars have a number of high tech pieces of equipment including radar (moving and stationary, front or rear mode), video camera with audio, Motorola Mobile Data Terminal, and Whelen comet strobes (blue) on the front and rear. We also have front cornering strobes and additional strobes in the reverse lights or tail-lights.
